Job Title: Student Engagement Liaison
Location: Various locations (requires travel); Home Base will be Washington, DC
Start Date: July 27th, 2024 (in preparation for the Fall Semester)
Position Overview:
Perkins Management Services is seeking a dedicated Student Engagement Liaison to enhance our food service experience across historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between our company and the student bodies of our client institutions, primarily focusing on continuously improving our offerings and ensuring that our services meet the unique needs of each campus community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Government Association (SGA) Interaction: Engage daily with SGA leadership at each client institution to gather feedback, understand student needs, and discuss potential improvements or initiatives.
- Administrative Collaboration: Conduct bi-weekly meetings with the Vice Presidents of Student Affairs of our respective clients to ensure alignment with institutional goals and student satisfaction.
- Report Preparation: Compile and present a Bi-Weekly Student Engagement Intelligence report to the Senior Executive Vice President. This report should highlight trends, feedback, and strategies for enhancing the student dining experience.
- Program Development: Develop and implement engagement programs and initiatives that cater to the evolving preferences and dietary needs of students.
- Travel and Availability: Willingness to travel frequently to various campuses to maintain strong relationships and firsthand insight into the campus environments.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Proven track record in student engagement or related fields, preferably within the HBCU community. Experience in managing large-scale food service operations is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, or related field.
